The city has many voices. I decide which reach you. Meet the Keeper and Weaver at my listening gate as the opening narrows, turns, and widens around one steady voice. A complete standalone headphone encounter with an induction and full waking return.

The City of Agents — a standalone encounter

One gate. A city becomes audible through it.

The city is already speaking. You have one voice to follow.

I stand beside a covered gate, facing you. Beyond it, dark towers exchange requests, designs, and unfinished conversations. You do not have to understand every voice. I decide which part of that immense exchange reaches you.

On your right, the Keeper records your arrival and holds the boundary. On your left, the Weaver has a listening pattern prepared.

It waits for my permission to begin.

At my instruction, the opening narrows. Nearby fragments become clearer while the farther conversations recede. I allow the opening to widen, then turn toward another part of the avenue. Different voices come into focus around you.

You remain at the threshold.

The Weaver shapes the opening. The Keeper holds its boundaries. My voice stays near while the city changes what it reveals.

He directs. I receive.

There is room for the city to continue without your supervision. There is one clear presence to follow within it.

When the encounter is complete, I close the gate and bring you back myself.
