I think that link's more or less still accurate. The public side of Festival doesn't seem to move very quickly. One issue I've hit is that the CMU Arctic voices don't support changing the speed at which the text is spoken, which is inconvenient if you're using them for hypnosis.

Well, this probably counts as a success story: I wasn't quite sure if I came when listening to TGirl Tag Team 1. I didn't have any such doubt with part 2, and the evidence left behind was undeniable anyway :D My first time listening to each (though hopefully far from the last) and I'm a relative new...

That is interesting. I only downloaded 3 because I really enjoyed T-Girl Tag Team 1, so I can't give you any clues as to why it might be more popular.
