i have this problem too, snoozing gets in the way. i've personally found the best time to trance is a few hours after waking up in the morning, maybe that might work for you too :)

I was more interested in the fact that none of the audience reacted badly, personally... I love Derren Brown, but I think a person that's been chosen to participate in a tv show with him knows (whether conciously or subconciously) that nothing bad is going to happen.
