heh. must be a bleary-eyed sleep-deprived irish thing. PM=Prime Minister. it was corny and stupid BEFORE, now it's well and truly flogged to death.
Oh well...

Are these the first few you've tried?
Most people reckon TrigFreeze is a good starting file, after acclimation to the inductions and all that, nice and simple.

Strangely enough, even though TrigFreeze worked for me brilliantly and played a big role in getting my head into the whole hypno-lark it only really worked properly for me when the trigger was voiced by someone else (i.e. the trigfreeze test on the wmm yahoo group).

If you plan on using the freezetest file from the WMM Group you might want to trim it. I didn't notice it was more than ten minutes long and I wasn't in a very comfortable position. Soundforge plays it when you select it by default so i just heard freeze time for you and bam

Goes to show how much attention I paid. I didn't even notice there was a PM feature until you mentioned it.
If I was a bit more sleep deprived I might have started wondering what the Prime Minister button did

A lot of people report doing things to focus on the words help. Just affirm them in your head, repeat them or mouth them worked for me. If you browse similar threads other people gave a fair bit of decent advice. Files that suggest regulating breathing helped me too. I had to make a bit of an effort...

DDebbie: I wrote something about how spirals helped me initially in another thread on the boards on the topic of help with files. Being a lazy git, and seeing as it's 2.30am i'll just link it http://www.warpmymind.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=33 The whole thread was on the sa...

Does lucid dreaming interfere with getting adequate sleep? God knows, I get little enough as is. I remember reading someone on another board claiming they woke up feeling "not as rested" or something like that. It's hard to tell what's accurate, and what's someone talking through their back passage ...

Just a suggestion, why not pick a few you like at the top of the list and submit it to a forum-based vote. That way people can't get uppity about voting practices, like the way it was going on the WMM group before the site upgrade.
Just a thought.

Do both the above work on anyone, regardless of gender?
I passed it over the first time I saw it because the description didn't specify. Then again, in hindsight it probably isn't that important.

:P I already look like a disheveled furby, and I usually make about as much sense as one. Maybe a de-furbinizer file would be in order

Re: Please Read

I was wondering if anyone knew any solutions for me so I don't ruin my clothes and bed. Thanks Not to take the piss (pun intended), but have you considered a nappy\diaper? Seriously though, you shouldn't just try these files on a whim. If you aren't 100% sure you want something to happen... DON'T L...

That second Lady Rio induction is brilliant, IMO. The other ones work for me, sure, but not to the same degree. I'd recommend that one to anybody. I'm tempted to go concoct a few ideas and commision Lady Rio to record them :D And yes, I was singing the praises of that file in another thread, it's ju...

I had a bit of trouble with the male voice too. Once I got used to going under with the female ones the problem vanished. My head must just think a trance is a trance is a trance now. I know it doesn't really answer your questions as asked, but maybe you could try getting a bit of "practice" with th...

I usually just lay on the bed, make sure no ones beating each other to death on the street outside or anything else loud and annoying and just relax. I had tried just sitting in a chair initially, this did nothing for me. I just couldn't get comfortable, though inversely some people report that lyin...

Not that this includes me, but i'm sure people who like to keep their heads hairless would love to not have to bother shaving it. It's bound to be a right pain in the arse nuking stubble on your head all the time when you want to keep it bald.

Are the three triggers selected by the listener? for example, can you decide to *ONLY* "hear no evil", and ignore the see and speak ones? I was going to try this one out of sheer curiosity... until I realised I'd heard idle references to "see no evil" several times in the last few weeks. I'd feel a ...

After trying some freebie inductions elsewhere that suggested watching hypno-spirals and the like it started working for me. I think I just needed something to keep my attention on. Trying to watch a spiral, continue breathing uniformly and listen at the same time didn't allow my attention much scop...
