I have attempted on occasion to record my own files, out of three attempts on the same script i did come out with one that had only a few mistakes like cars driving past, half way through the others my flat mate came home unexpectedly early and the last i can hear him stirring a cup of tea in the ki...

The first step i'd say is to find an induction file that works for you, everyone is different so at this point it's a little trial and error to find what you need. Here's a link to the starters thread with some very good advice about how best to begin and with a list of file that you may want to try...

Sometimes i get a sense of vertigo, that i just dropped a small distance suddenly, the difference here is that the sensation doesn't end as suddenly but lingers for a while, focusing on the hypnotist's voice can often extend the sensation further. I've wondered a few times if this is part of trancin...

Ok, iv'e done the same and even listened to the latter file about 5 times, the effect didn't stick but i did go into a deeper trance than my usual attempts.
