It is a good idea. It may be a while before it happens since I am in the middle of rebuilding WMM, but it is a good idea.

I hope it works, I once tried to record a file while using speech recognition software. The results were so ugly I gave up after a couple tries.

Never used soundbooth, but the technique is the same for any sound editor. Layer the subliminal over music, ocean sounds, whatever at a volume that leaves the file either barely audible or at the highest level you can that is still inaudible depending on your needs.

One suggestion if you aren't already doing it. Try using a USB based microphone. The analog connections on your computer can pick up noise from the computer and corrupt a file even though you are in a perfectly quiet room.

I don't know if anyone else is going to say it, but I appreciate all the work you have done. You've been here a long time and are one of the better contributors. Hopefully you can find a volunteer or three to transcribe your work.

Well, based on user response 100% negative and the fact it was slowing the site down, I pulled FB and G+. I am looking into other options but for the moment they're gone.

Thanks! That's one thing I will NEVER EVER do, I hate recurring billing with a passion. Just felt like posting a bit of appreciation for WMM. I really do like the way you can drop in and out of premium membership, a month at a time whenever you feel like it, without any repeating billing nonsense.

Ok, voting on a file is now impossible unless you have downloaded it first. This doesn't keep people from being dicks, but it does make them work harder to be one(and means that you have to purchase a file to rate it and must have a premium membership to rate a new file)

I do plan on updating this system to limit voting to people who have downloaded a file, I just haven't done it yet.
