I'm afraid that it wouldn't work. Most audio devices cannot playback and record at the same time! You might find an expensive unit that can, but the ones typically installed in modern computers as default can't. It depends on how long you've been listening to the file I think. Certainly, I found that the more I listened to the file, the less I could resist its effects. It would be nice if you could reach a stage where you'd only 'go so far' but with curse files it's not that easy :twisted:

I know that when I was listening to the file I never actually saw any hallucinations but I certainly felt something. Phantom tail/ears etc so I should think that the first effect you should be experiencing are feelings. I guess hallucinations take a lot more practice after that :?

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't. I have spliced many different files together to achieve varied desired effects in the past. If you don't know what you're going to use to do it yet, may I recommend [url]http://audacity.sourceforge.net/[/url] it's what I use! I can make pretty seamless joins...
