Uploading a script

I created a script to Cardigan's Curing Insomnia file, but when I tried to add it to his file, the fmanager said that I had no files to add things to. So I just added it as a new file. I hope that this is OK....

The process you were describing lets you add things to files you've uploaded yourself. If you wish to add to somebody else's file, sending it to EMG via E-mail is the preferred method.
