file novelty

Postby loadedkaos » May 11th, 2005, 1:03 am

I finally went under for a whole file even though I chopped up a bunch of files so I can play them while I sleep, although I just managed to go under for train succeptable then snapped out of it. Hmmm...Now I started with train succeptable and no doubt I went under, so I'm sure I can go under again although being an inquisitive person I was wondering if the novelty of a new file could keep someone from going under? I think this might be why the other files on the track I made didn't work either that or I missed something in my editing.

My question however is. Has any one had any trouble going under with new files but still no problem with the old ones?

It's possible that, with a new file, you wonder in the back of your mind whether it will contain anything unexpected or jarring. Also, it may be that the contents are interesting to listen to actively...whether you want to or not.

Many people probably feel more comfortable and relaxed with files they're familiar with.
