Listening Volume

Postby RawBearNYC » August 4th, 2005, 8:20 am

I've been listening to a couple different files for a while now. I've not gotten the impression that I've been going very deep. I play the files in my MP3 player with my headphones attached. And it occurred to me, last night, that maybe the volume is too loud on my player. Are there any guidelines as far as volume when listening to files? I know some people use regular stereos to listen and probably have a very different listening experience.

well just keep it so that it doesnt drown out all the outer sounds, but loud enough so that it doesnt hurt your ears.
