Downloading to a phone?

Postby livingbylies » March 26th, 2013, 11:47 pm

Question: I'm on an Android, and don't have a computer. When I try to download mp3 files, it downloads but won't play. Any help?

It goes to the SD card or download folder when you download it. It's out of your reach unless you plug in your phone to a computer. You can access and move this file into the appropriate music folder with the right application. Try searching on Google Play for an app that allows you to dig around in your phone's folders or SD card. I know there's quite a few out there.

Change the file extension

Download a file manager from the app store. When you open the directory on your phone that you downloaded the file to (using the file manager), you'll have to change the file extension to "mp3". Then it'll play fine.
Hope this was helpful.
