Mildly Confused.

Hello! I found this site earlier this week. While the whole 'over powering' curses and stuff was initially somewhat attractive, I managed to view the forum before I got myself into a mess I wouldn't be able to fix (Thank god, some of that stuff looked potent). I'm still a bit of a skeptic and was wondering if there is something here less. . . demeaning? I struggle with effort and/or time management, any files for that? Also, being an expert in Math wouldn't be all too bad either.
So, anyone got some recommendations that won't ruin my life, but instead improve it?
