Is it possible to develop permanent, long term effects against your will from the hypnosis? If I don't like what is being said is it possible that I can be stuck with the effects?

Depends on if you actually want the suggestions.
Hypnosis is reinforces what you already want and desire, but if its something you're not ok with, it won't come to fruition unless you allow it to.
Case and point, if you don't like what the file suggests don't listen to it anymore.
