Trance Issues

Hello,

I just started trying hypnosis a few days ago, but I'm having an issue getting into a trance. Throughout an audio file, I can feel myself drop down into a trance, completely relaxing for a brief moment and getting that heavy feeling, but then I get the feeling that I'm not breathing. It causes me to then focus on my breathing and makes it hard for me to get fully relaxed. Any tips someone could give?

The breathing thing happens to me, too. Focusing on your breathing is fine, in fact, it's a good thing to focus on your breathing to make sure it's nice and steady. As long as you can also focus on the words. Eventually you'll teach your body how to act while it's in trance. It took me a while to get the swing of it myself, but maaaan, it was worth it.

Thank you guys so much. That file you posted is especially helping and breathing is starting to help more than hinder my trance.
