What is the difference in a binaural file and the regular file that can be downloaded by clicking on the name of the file?

To my limited knowledge, a binaural file basically has aditional sounds that is supposed to put your brain in a more suggestable state.

The long explanation is that certain frequencies of sounds passing through the brain stimulate certain brainwave patterns that emulate specific states of mind. For example, a certain frequency means the brain is more alert, or more suggestable and so on. However, these frequencies are to low to hear, so instead a repeating sound is played in each ear, with a difference in frequency matching the desired frequency.

A binaural file is one that is separated into two tracks (stereo), with one containing a 'beat' and the other containing another 'beat.' When each of these tracks go into their respective ears, they are supposed to combine inside the brain and match up to form a pulse that is supposed to resonate and influence brainwave patterns into a particular state, i.e. hypnosis, sleep, etc.

I'm not entirely sure if it works or not, but it's an idea that people have claimed works like little else would, for them. I didn't see much of a difference when i tried it.

well thats what they should be, some are just EMG's voice worked into a wavelength that varies in pitch, not very effective, its easy to lose track of his voice...might be a good thing im not sure...or just find it irritating
