Well, I suppose it would depend on the curse. If somebody, for instance, were to actually get one like hormone change or superfemalewhammy to work, it might be tough to reverse it. Behavioral ones, however, can always be reversed through sheer will alone (just as any habit can).

At one point last year I had CurseSharedOrgasm working pretty well (about as well as I ever got anything with just the voice files). It was quite addictive, and I found I couldn't sleep without listening to the file first.

Then I couldn't listen to the file for 2 days while staying with my parents.
The next day, I was pretty tired and figured that after missing it for 2 days, one more wouldn't make much difference.
Another day, and I just couldn't be bothered to start listening again. As far as I can tell, any effects were gone by the end of the week.
