Am I doing this right?

I've tried several inductions and I think it's working, but I find that after two or three files my mind starts to wander back and forth between what the files are saying and what's happening in the rest of the house. I've been trying this each night before bed for nearly a week and I don't know if this will hurt my chances of going deeper.

Can anybody help me here?

My suggestion is that inbetween each file body you insert a deepener.

The main problem is that I can't seem to 'drop off' into a trance.
Maybe I'm immune to hypnosis.

Try a little bit of meditation before listening to a file. Get your mind and body into that relaxed state ahead of time. And then you'll be like me, going back and forth between what the files are saying and dropping out.

I've tried listening to an open ended induction before I start the file.
Should that help?

Some of EMGs deepening files have been remixed by "iamatestsubjectofme" I think,
Try those out,
They may help you to relax a little more,
They certainly worked on me.
