I can't trance, period.

I dunno what it is. I may go under (usually with EMG's files), but when he switches voices from introduction to whatever the file is, it wakes me up. But usually, I never even go under, and I find it very frustrating. I dunno what it is. Sometimes I'll twitch and throw myself out of it (Which happens when I sleep, too, and it'll wake me up. >_>) and I'm not sure what to do. I'm positive, saying in my mind prior to playing the file, "I will go into trance, I will accept the files contents," but, nothing. I try focusing on the voice, or not at anything. It's really starting to tick me off.

I lay on my bed, it's got a layer of that memory foam, so it's really comfy, and I doubt that's a problem. There's an air conditioner near my window, but that's usually the only sound in the background, but usually I wear noise reducing headphones. I keep my arms to my sides and my legs straight out, and it's usually dark when I try to trance.

Hopefully I'm not missing anything.
