Question about files and their usage.

Postby cjacksonii » March 1st, 2008, 5:48 pm

Howdy! I have enjoyed listening to some of the sessions that are on the site, and I'm going to start listening to one of the scripts here ("Train Gay Jock") quite a bit because I think it will be very useful in not only making me get into better shape but might also help cure me of a shyness problem. I found a script that I also want to use ("Pig Man Muscle Beast"), but an interesting curiousity comes to my mind.

I normally listen to the actual suggestion section of the mp3 just to make sure that everything is what I'm wanting. I like the suggestions in the Pig Man Muscle Beast file, but the only problem is that I am somewhat addicted to watching gay porn (mainly for the scenes and the gear that's being worn....I have a major costume fetish and love finding new ideas from gay porn). I also would love to be able to use the suggestions of the script at times where I don't really have the capability to watch any gay porn to activate the trigger (ex. I like to go to a gay campground near where I live, and it's a very rural location with no access to televisions. The curiousity question that I have is this: Is there a way to alter the script somehow so that instead of the gay porn trigger that a verbal trigger could be used? And what would be the best way that it could be done?

Thanks greatly in advance!

One way to do this is to edit the files themselves. If you're using audio versions, you can try patching in a verbal trigger from another file in place of the mentions of the file's existing trigger. A program like Audacity can help you with this, it's simple to use and cross-platform. It's a little hard until you wrap your head around how to use the program in that way, but that doesn't take long and it's the quickest way.

Another way would be to ask another 'tist to record a special version of the file with verbal triggers in the place of the existing ones. This could take longer, but the results may turn out more professional than a simple edit.

The option that would take the longest is to post your idea on the voting page. Oftentimes EMG or another hypnotist will take ideas from the page and turn them into files. This can take a while, however.

So, editing the file yourself with a verbal trigger from another would be the fastest way, but asking a 'tist to make a custom file or putting the idea on the voting page would be the one that has a greater chance to work. And there's always the custom file option under services if you have some extra cash. Whichever way you choose, good luck.

A follow up question

Postby cjacksonii » March 7th, 2008, 1:52 pm

Thank you for the information you posted in regards to my question!

I do have a followup question that has come to my mind while I was reading the response.

I know this was not the original intent of the file, and I have no clue whether or not this would work properly. But what I'm thinking about doing is programming a Virtual Hypnotist script to play after the Pig Man Muscle Beast file is finished (by way of recording it using a program like Total Recorder), in essence to remove the trigger of looking at porn and replacing it with a verbal trigger. I'm wondering if anyone has done something like this, and if it is theoretical that it would work correctly or not?

Thanks again for the info! :-)
