Open the photo in microsoft paint. You can add text with that.

I'd save them as .png files, so it dosen't bugger up the quality of the picture.

Speaking of help in regards to SubViewer, does anyone know how to get it to work on Vista?

Paint.NET - http://www.getpaint.net/
GIMP - http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/stable.html

Those are both more powerful than MS Paint.

seperate word picture

I prefer to create a picture that is of just of the word or words you want with a background color that sticks out like red. Then just stick each word picture in between each actual picture which creates more of a flash effect and more hypnotic even though I still can't get any file, whether be a audio, video or subviewer file to have any effect on me.
