sleeping or trance?

i dont know wether im sleeping or am i in a trance. i will listen to a file and after listening to the induction, the actural file will start, then i am feeling like i am waking up when its counting 3...4...5. is this normal?

Wow, I've only managed to hit that once or twice in a few months of practicing. I consider it a huge success when I manage to "zone out" and come back right at the end when instructed to. Good for you, jarett, you've hit the trancing nail on the head!
