I am trying to get a file that doesn't have a download set up, but does have a "link to file" page. Is the file actually on the site, and if so, how the hell do I download it? Be specific - I know essentially no html.

you cannot link to a file that hasn't got a recording to go with it. It's a bit of a bug as it should only show up for files that have an MP3 to go with them.
