I have a question about files that are only scripts. I hope this isn't too dumb a question, but are you supposed to go into trancce from reading them? How does one get them to work?

some limited number of people can go into trance from reading a script. but otherwise you could run that script through a text to speech program to let a virtual voice read it for you. and some people submit scripts in the hope that someone with a good voice will pick them up and record them,

Most operating systems come with rather lame ones, but there is a really good one for MacOSX called iVox, if you're willing to shell out the money. Just search on google, you'll find it fast.
