Self Trigs

After listening to trig files, can you trig yourself or does someone have to do it for you? I know that some of the files say they are self-triggerable and some don't say that. Thanks,Hank

Some are specifically designed so that only you can trigger them. Others are designed so that you can trigger them, though a few of them are set up so that you can't untrigger them.

Many are vague on the matter. They don't specifically say that you can trigger them, but they also don't say that you can't. With them, what's liable to matter is what you believe. If you approach a file believing or expecting that you'll be able to trigger it, you probably will be.

A lot of files tell you that if you hear the trigger, the effect will happen. I suppose you could consider how difficult it is to say something without hearing it while you say it ;)
