I am new here. One of the "curse" files is very appealing to me, however, I am concerned as it says the effects are permanent with curses. I was wondering if it is ok to PM the author of the file to ask more detalied questions about it? Do they generally answer those types of questions? I am not yet familiar with the etiquette of this place.

Just download it, skip the induction and listen to the core of the file to see if you like it.

Sending a PM to the author is fine with most people here...

Speaking as an author myself of hypno-files, I can tell you that anybody that sends me a PM gets an answer. And I try to answer as well as possible.

I don't think any author would be offended by a PM from a person wanting to know about his or her work. We'll more likely be flattered by it, because it shows an interest in our work. That's how I feel, anyway.

Oh, there have been a couple of PMs about somebody wanting one of the pay-files for free. They don't flatter me. :wink:
