Can't download anything

Noob here.

I tried to download a couple different (free) files. They were not premium or pay. They download to a certain amount of completion, then stop, and because this site's system doesn't seem to support resuming downloads, I've tried restarting them each time, which is frustrating when a download stops at say 90%.

I read in the forums that you're working on getting a new server. Would this have anything to do with that?

Help! This is really frustrating.

I'm back.

I can usually, after around 10 tries, get ~10Mb files on my computer. Files bigger than that usually don't finish. This is not true on other sites, only this one.

I have tried clearing the cache with no noticeable improvement.

Help?

A couple of questions.

Which browser are you using? Include the version.
What sort of internet connection do you have(dial up Cable, DSL).

That may help me figure out what is up.

Connection type is DSL, browser is Firefox 3.6.11. I've tried IE 8 with even worse results.

EMG's files usually go down quickly after a few refreshes. The others rarely if ever finish.

If it helps you know what's going on, that's great.
