Anyone else getting a completely blank page when hitting either of hte FILES links on this site? I can access files through the search, but that requires me to know the name of the file and doesn't allow me to browse anything. If it is working for you, any ideas on why it's not for me?

Are you talking about the link "Files" on the left of the page, or the link for downloading a specific file?

The link named "Files" on the left under the Modules heading, it's also listed at the top of the pages on this website as "Files." Both result in a blank white page.

I'm not having a problem with it. Maybe cookie settings or security settings in you Browser. If your on dial up like me and are set to all/all in the viewing of the files it takes a min or so for it to populate the page. That's about all I can think of right now.

You are not the first to report this, but I haven't been able to reproduce it so I can't do a heck of a lot about it yet. Which version of IE are you running? Any information you can send me may be helpful. Send it to emg@warpmymind.com

You should use Mozilla Firefox. I have had not one crash/bug/virus since I swapted to it. And popups open in the backround so you don't have to click them out of the way.

Popups can open in the background with IE. But I agree with using firefox, except I can never get it to download files that are audio or video, because I get no save link option.

Isn't that the "Save link as" when you right click?

XP is the biggest piece of shit, and the only reason it dominated the market was because nobody released anything else quick enough

If emulation would get better with linux, and the install system would get a little easier, I would go cold linux.
I haven't had a problem with eather IE or firefox on the "files" link. If you have xp you can unistall and reinstall IE, if you are using IE, jamesdales. (save your favorits first.)

Did you install or remove anything in the past few days? Did you enable anything that you normally have disabled, or vice versa? If so, what was it?

I don't know if this will make a difference, but try clearing your browser's cache.

I totally agree with those using Firefox, or any non-microsuck browser.
Safari also is pretty glitch free, and that old war horse Netscape is good as well.
Also, I should mention that I'm running OSX on an old eMac; no crashes, no disapearring internet sessions, no blue screen of death. just keeps on humming..... but that's a different topic!
Most of these browsers can be downloaded for free, just google the name and you'll get the company's site and how to download.
long live mozilla!

Just for the record, I'll add that Opera is now completely free.

Internet explorer 5.5 is kind of old. Why not try to upgrade to the latest version.
