Best TTS software?

When you download some of the scripts, what are the best TTS software to use? I like a female voice, american accent.

Are there some good programs where you can not only type in your own text, but adjust the pronunciation of individual parts of the text for recording purposes? I'd like to make some files but I'd need to use a sexy female voice, not my own.

As far as I know, the Cepstral Swifttalker software provides good voices at reasonable prices. It comes with voices and a control program, but since the voices are SAPI5 compliant, you can basically use them throughout your OS and with other software once they're installed. I demoed them myself - IIRC you can change pronunciation, as well as altering intonation, speed, pitch, etc.
