The voice in my head

Here is the problem: The voice in my head talks nonstop, even during self-hypnosis sessions. I can get into a trance, where my body feels no need or desire to move and I feel slightly warmer than normal; however, when the suggestions come around, the voice in my head has the annoying tendency to either challenge or refute the hypnotic suggestions given to me, making me feel as if the entire session was worthless. Case in point: I listened to Cal's Curse 5 times over the course of 5 days, and afterward, I felt no urge to listen to it again and I can still orgasm, which I believe is due to said voice. Help, please?

one thing that helps me is to have my internal monologe repeat everything that the hypnotist says. some people believe that hypnosis can work wether you are actively listening or not.
