Am I doing it right?

I'm new to the whole hypnosis thing, and I've listened to "Furry Transformation" once. I'm not sure if (and if so, how deep) I'm going into trance.
I lay down on the ground with my head resting on a small pillow and listen to the file play from my laptop, which rests right behind my head. I'm in a room with minor outside noises, and it is relatively dark inside said room.
When I go into trance, I still feel like I'm awake, but once I go deep enough, it becomes very hard to move my arms, hands, legs, or feet. Also, when I said the trigger phrase for the first time, I felt a very slight tingling sensation at the base of my spine (yes, I was thinking of an animal with a tail).
Am I doing it right, and if so, how did I do for a first-timer?
