Indeed, not only does the Curse compel one to post on the forum but it also has a failsafe that makes the listener crave using the file if they think the Curse is wearing off. This can result in periods of "backsliding" that reinforce the Curse, making it stronger and stronger.

Having used the file, I can say it's quite insidious. In my experience, if one is posting their Cursed state in the forum, one has succumbed to the Curse.
