Either Asleep or Awake no Hypnosis

So I've tried some of these files, and they either put me alseep or awake. Sometimes I've gotten to the point where I'm hovering in dream world but I don't feel like I'm listening to what the person was saying. Like I can't concentrate because I'm so tired. Or I can concentrate, but I am very much awakre and aware of what's going on.

Initially, I had zero response other than occasionally nodding off. I've gotten to where I can get tingly and drift and even feel some ghostly type physical reactions to suggestions, but nothing vividly real and nothing other than trance enhancing triggers seem to have any noticeable effect after waking. Am I right in thinking that I need more practice trancing and trusting or is there something else I am missing?
