How to be a good husband

Concept I borrowed and significantly altered ... kind of a mental list I use for myself. Thought if anyone wanted to alter it further for a kind of an FLR hypno file ... if would be useful ...
How to be a Good Husband
HAVE DINNER READY: Plan ahead, even the night before, to have a delicious meal--on time. This is a way to let her know that you have been thinking about her and are concerned with her needs. Most women are hungry when they come home, and having a good meal ready is part of the warm welcome that is needed.
PREPARE YOURSELF: Take fifteen minutes to rest so that you will be refreshed when she arrives. She has just been with a lot of work-weary people. Be a little cheerful and a little more interesting. Her boring day may need a lift. Greet her with a smile.
CLEAR AWAY THE CLUTTER: Make one last trip though the main part of the house just before your wife arrives, run a dust cloth over the tables. Your wife will feel she has reached a haven of rest and order, and it will give you lift too.
MINIMIZE ALL NOISE: At the time of her arrival, eliminate all noise from the washer, dryer, or vacuum. Speak as little as possible unless spoken to. A good husband should be seen, but not heard.
SOME "DO NOT'S": Don't greet her with problems and complaints. Don't complain if she is late for dinner. Count this as a minor problem compared to what she might have gone through that day.
MAKE HER COMFORTABLE: Have a cool or warm drink ready for her. Have her lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest that she lie down in the bedroom. Arrange her pillow and offer to take off her shoes. Speak in a low, soothing voice. Allow her to relax and unwind.
LISTEN TO HER: You may have a dozen things to tell her, but the moment of her arrival is not the time. Let her talk first.
MAKE THE EVENING HERS: Never complain if she doesn't take you to dinner or to other entertainment. Instead, try to understand her world of strain and pressure and her need to unwind and relax.
DON’T PESTER HER FOR ATTENTION: You may be excited to see her, but her time is her own and she may need to do other important things. No matter how lonely you may feel, she’ll come to you on her terms. Always accept her attention when she chooses to give it.
RESPECT HER AUTHORITY: Don't ask her questions about her actions nor question her judgment or integrity. Remember, she is the mistress of the house and as such will always exercise her will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question her.
ACCEPT YOUR FAULTS: If your wife finds fault with you, listen with quiet respect and try to change your behavior. If she must discipline you, accept it with grace and remember that she is trying to improve you and your marriage.
BECOME HERS: Be available to your wife mind, body, and spirit. Become exclusively hers and be ready for her at any moment of the day. Remember that you belong to her.
A good husband always knows his place.
THE GOAL: TO MAKE YOUR HOME A PLACE OF PEACE AND ORDER WHERE YOUR WIFE CAN RELAX IN BODY AND SPIRIT.
