If it doesn't explicitly specify in the file itself, then the only way to find out is to try it out!

As for getting it to work, that depends on you. Are you going deeply into trance each time, etc?

There was a thread up where people could put in requests for e-mail slave triggers. If your self-trigger doesn't work, post in their and I'm sure someone would be more than willing to help you out.
