Hi folks!
A while ago, I built a random playlist generator. I fed it some of EMG's files, and typed in the times at which the induction/body/ending start and finish.
Now I can just select a list of keywords to include/exclude, tell it how much time I've got, and it plays back something that takes approximately the right time. Its neat, because if my housemates are home I can just tick the avoid boxes for "humiliation/sexual/slave", and it will give me a file consisting entirely of self help files, possibly with more deepening bits or susceptibility training than usual in order to make a file of the desired length. Its like every day I get a mystery file, but I've put in my preferences so it tends to give me the suggestions I'm interested in more often. In addition, after listening I get a little feedback survey so I can tell the script if I think I was in a particularly deep trance or not from that file. It remembers which combinations of induction/deepener worked well, and is more likely to use those in the future.
Now I'm modifying the script so it generates an audio stream. The idea here is that I can put it on a website and anyone can sign up. Once you've selected the suggestions you're interested in (or selected some areas of interest and let the machine pick suggestions), you can sign on any time and either tune into an audio stream (which generates a new file and starts playing it whenever you connect), or download a file to listen to at your leisure.
What do you think of this idea? Would you use it? Any suggestions for improvements?
However, if I'm putting it online, I suspect EMG wouldn't want me using his files. So is there anyone who has created some files (or is going to record some) and wouldn't mind me using them for this experiment?
Thanks :)
