Strobe Light?

Hello again all.

My sensory deprivation box is almost ready to be occupied by me.

One thought which my partner had was use of a small strobe light inside. I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on perhaps a color, brightness, frequency of flashes etc to help increase results?

maybe making the frequency the same as the states of the brain to induce altered states
