Ever used an AVS system with hypnosis files?

I posted about this earlier in the wrong forum, so I deleted the orignal post.... I don't recall the exact wording I used in the original, but I want to put it out for discussion in the correct forum :)

I purchased a unit that generates light pulses in glasses/goggles along with headphones, and ran a script I've been having trouble with in Virtual Hypnotist through it using some backing files I found at a free site -- http://iso-tones.com/tones.html for those who are interested (I figure since it's free it's not spam advertising, right EMG?).

The device has many different programs for various mental states, and there are lots of programs available online to generate "Audiostrobe" MP3s that include coded information about the light pulses, although the device seemed to pick up the beat from the backing MP3s I used.

Anyway... I do have to say it was quite an experience. With the lights reinforcing any binaural or isochronic beats to get brainwaves in sync for the hypnosis, I got much, much deeper than I ever have with that file.... and for the first time a "forget" suggestion actually worked like it was supposed to. I know intellectually the contents of the script because I've modified it slightly to try to get better results from it, but when I've been using it with the device I have a *really* hard time even remembering the original script now, or at least the words to it -- I know the general content and all. But it's like there's a brick wall when I try to remember... that's never really happened for me before.

I'm really anxious to try some of my favorite files, especially Blink's stuff, through the device. I've gotten pretty deep with Blink's files -- I know what they say, but it's foggy when I try to remember the experience while I listen to them. I'd like to see if I get the same "brick wall" type effect with the forget suggestions there -- it would really help me because I know I'm one of those that resists to some degree and it'd be really neat to not have as much of a conscious memory that would make it easier to resist things. :)

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has tried combining the audio with a visual stimulus to help get your brain in the right place so to speak :) it's been really cool so far for me.
