Actively Listen Yay or Nay

Postby danny1988 » October 19th, 2014, 5:13 pm

Okies im curious ive heard numerous differing opinions on this and im wondering is it better to actively listen to the voice with your concious mind or just let your mind wander and let go?

Or does it vary from person to person?

Starting a new file and I want to get the best results ^^

When I trance, I trance as a submissive. The whole point is to let go. So I let my mind drift... what will be, will be.

I like to just lock my conscious mind into a loop of repeating "sleep" on the exhale of each breath -- otherwise my mind starts analyzing the file I am listening to.

Been doing a lot of all night looping lately and it definitely takes even stronger from that, even though I am not even awake to hear it.

Yeh I think thats what my mind does its very annoying >.<
I think ill try to let go and relax more from now on and not analyse whats being said.

Such a hard habit to get out of though.

Hard is a understatement. One trick I did do was write my shopping list in my head. For some reason I start to trance when I do that.

i don't think there is one right answer to the best way to trance. i almost always tend to have better results by letting my mind drift but there are some times when i get better results through intently focusing on the hypnotist.

I would suggest going with your instinct because there are some files that all I really care about are some specific words that are said that I love hearing. As well as times where I just go into trance randomly.

Cheers for all the help :)
Erm I think ill try and just let go as its something ive not done all that much in the past.
Ironically its what I did with my hypnotherapy and never realised lol.

May try a couple of different inductions I seem to respond well to elman and confusion inductions.
