gooninator and hypnosis

Some of you may already know about gooninator. In my own limited capacity I've modified the code to reflect my own tumblr/script/kinks... Basically ramping up the hypnosis factor. Have a look, I'd love to hear feedback!

Purpose is up to you - the site provides imagery and text (originally intended for "gooning"), which is how I'd been using it. I just tried it with a binaural like Blankslate 235 suggested and yeah - it's intense!

Shai, I hid a lot of the options in kryptosam, so I suggest checking out the original website gooninator2.neocities.org. Lots of options in the sidebar, including choice of tumblrs, scripts, slideshow speed... I left those out cause I wanted to control the experience. I know it's not perfect though, so if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them

Any idea where to find scripts? I like your spiral but not all of the suggestions and not being able to tweak it/see what's there lowers its useability by some people.

Ok ok You can choose a script from gooninator2. Take the script name and paste it into the URL. (Like below, it's "qezuginase")

OK so....I watched this the other night using a VR headset, my phone, and a binaural beat.

Holy effing fuck it was absolutely amazing. The VR headset changed the entire experience. I love it now!

Thanks for posting info about the scripts. I had not understood enough about them to make my own for Gooninator.

For me, you have hit the sweet spot. The speed of text and eye candy is very much what I have found to effective. I also prefer to have text phrases presented serially as single words - - they slip in almost unnoticed. If the text is bright white, it is like gazing at a strobe light, but as in your example, the text is about the same brightness as the flashing eye candy and the result is subtle ( like the use of multiple audio tracks in a hypno mp3 ).

Speaking of audio ... binaural tracks work well for me also as they don't compete with the video. I also tried one or two of MajorPixel's 'slow' files but found that to be less effective. I would like to incorporate phrases from a 'slow' file as text and test the effect.

I'm glad you started this thread and I really appreciate your contribution.

Is there any way to use a computer folder instead of Tumblr? I already have folders with selected images (minus their own text). I use Subviewer at the moment.

thequirkyone - Which VR headset do you use? I don't own one and would like to know more If it's a mobile headset... how do you get the address bar to go away?

Maleko7 - I don't think that's possible... it's certainly out of my capabilities. But you could for sure start your own tumblr... This script should help you upload all your photos
