Hi, does anyone have any idea how to turn the image of a file, i.e. the speech thing with the up and down bits that show how loud you speak, into an audio file?

If you dont get what I mean:

It is a picture with what looks like something off a pulse machine, but when you speak, in My Accesories, in sound recorder, speak into a mic and you will see what I mean. Please help.

If you have video of a waveform visualisation, you could possibly engineer that back to give something approximating to the original sound, but the quality would be limited by the framerate of your recording.

If you just have a static image, you don't have enough data to work with. You might be able to create an approximation to the original sound, but it would be so low quality (so little data to work with - no pitch information, for example) that it would be useless for any practical purpose.
