Hypnosis only for a native speaker?

Hello

I've been listening to various files from this site for a couple of weeks, so far with no success. Does it matter that English is not my first language? I don't have any trouble speaking or understanding it, but I've been curious as to why it doesn't seem to work for me.

If that's not the case, could someone give me any other advice/help? I've never been (able to get) hypnotised and I would really, really love to.

If you're a fluent English speaker, you shouldn't have any problem with English-language hypno. Being multi-lingual is actually a good thing, since it opens up more options for you.

That being said, hypnosis training takes some time, and much of it is just finding a comfortable location, determining what style of files you like, and breaking down various mental barriers. The key is to keep working at it.

There is no way that should matter if you're fluent enough.

I know someone who is Swedish and gets hypnotized in English and has no trouble at all with the files

It's just a matter of finding someone you like and are comfortable with.
