"I believe and obey" vs. "I hear and obey&quo

Hi, I got some advice yesterday that, after thinking about it further, could be summed up as follows:

I have had only partial/temporary success with files that include 'hallucination'. I learned that this is likely tied to my mind rejecting some suggestions. Now, I've been using the Busenman Accelerator-booster and Improve Suggestibility. I've also listened to Siren (Love... ;-) and Vive's Better Hypnotic Subject I & II. Add in a metronome and I'm really deep. I still think that I'm rejecting, for example, the basic concept of the suggestion as I don't believe it to be possible. For example.

1) Phantom Rapist - I don't really believe in ghosts that can interact with the real world (beyond the first hour or so after death) like this so I don't truly believe that the trigger (If you are not in view of another person) can create a Phantom Rapist.

2) Cat Potion - I really want this one to work and hope to have a very different post tomorrow on this, but I don't believe you can have a potion that turns you into a cat so I 'feel' the tail grow and hands change but never 'see' my hands change into paws or my ears turn to cat ears, etc.

I'm wondering if it would be better to reinforce "I believe and obey" instead of "I hear and obey" and alike in files that seek to improve suggestibility. I'm thinking that a few "setup lines" like "Phantoms are real. They are spirits that can become real to you." when responded to with "I believe..." might help override pre-conceptions outside the scope of the script that might invalidate it's acceptance. What do you all think? Am I just overcomplicating this? (it would not the first time I've heard that in the last 24 hours BTW).

Thanks.

Skillset Deepener by MistE was posted recently and, based on the description, might help the hallucination-challenged (like myself). I'll let you know.

That is pretty intriguing! Send me a pm, I'd really like to know more about the problem you're having and see if I can't modify some of my/make some new files to better help you with that.

I've made a partial breakthrough. I was resting in a trance (no file playing) and thinking the following to myself:

- Suggestibility means I trust and believe all hypnotic suggestions
- I trust and believe all my past and future hypnotic files

After about 10 minutes, something just kicked in like a sledgehammer. I found my mind was bringing all my old files up one at a time. I figured this was to get me to accept or reject each file like the "busenman - accelerator-booster" file said would be done automatically. The Phantom Rapist file dropped me to my knees (literally).

I had also been using a metronome based on some excellent advice I had been given. At 30 or 40 bpm, it helped me focus. Still, there was a wild trigger when I started self-learning the two lines above. I had played the 4 tracks I mentioned in my posting (2 of yours) perhaps a half dozen times prior to this trying to improve my "suggestibility". I don't think I understood the word and what it really meant while I was listening. The same person who gave me the advice on the metronome also led me into the idea that the word "suggestibility" was closely coupled with the words "trust, believe, and obey" in this context and those 3 smaller concepts were easier for me to understand.

I'm way ahead of where I was at this point. I'm learning files on one or two listens and I 'feel' everything much more and those feeling are persistent (and in some cases getting annoying ;-) but I asked for it!) I still have not 'seen' anything. Generally, I'm using "Busenman - Feel real boobs" and "Cat Potion" as my test cases with the Busenman - accelerator-booster and improve suggestibility immediately before. Most of the time, I'm using the Bubble Induction file "Backwards-compatible 'New Induction' Gender Neutral". I also play Siren and Vive's Better Hypnotic Subject I & II frequently (Not just for the Hypnotic Arousal ;-)

I'd appreciate any suggestions to help me get past my visual hallucination block.

Well, try this: Take each suggestion at face value. You don't have to believe in ghosts for it to work, but you know what a ghost is being defined as, and you know what characteristics have been assigned to the ghost under these circumstances.

So, whether or not you call a stick a stick, a stick is a wooden thing, usually notably longer than it is thick.

In this case, even though s/he calls it a ghost, it's just something that's invisible, partially intangible, and really wants to have sex with you, but is super shy. Whatever you and s/he call it may be different, so try this:

Say to yourself before the file, "S/he may call Y an X, and I accept that she calls Y an X, but I know that Y is a Y".

Personally, I believe there aren't tentacle monsters or futa, but that doesn't stop me from fantasizing about it, and attempting to hallucinate such things.

I think this goes deeper than "X can't exist", it's more along the lines of suspending your disbelief that 'nosis CAN create such a thing, and can force such a thing upon you.

This goes for anyone with similar issues, not just this specific case.[/u]

Hi! Have patience! Visual hallucinations require a very deep trance and that takes training... I guess you want positive visual hallucinations (=seeing something that isn't there)? That's not as deep as negative visual hallucinations (that at the end of the scale) but still pretty deep, especially from a file (as opposed to live and face to face where the tist gets more feedback)... So yeah, have patience and train to go into trance... it will come one day!

Thanks Endo and ViVe for the great advice. I'll be patient but persistent and let you know when I get it. It's a bit like waiting for a Christmas present in some regards.
