"I believe and obey" vs. "I hear and obey&quo

Hi, I got some advice yesterday that, after thinking about it further, could be summed up as follows:
I have had only partial/temporary success with files that include 'hallucination'. I learned that this is likely tied to my mind rejecting some suggestions. Now, I've been using the Busenman Accelerator-booster and Improve Suggestibility. I've also listened to Siren (Love... ;-) and Vive's Better Hypnotic Subject I & II. Add in a metronome and I'm really deep. I still think that I'm rejecting, for example, the basic concept of the suggestion as I don't believe it to be possible. For example.
1) Phantom Rapist - I don't really believe in ghosts that can interact with the real world (beyond the first hour or so after death) like this so I don't truly believe that the trigger (If you are not in view of another person) can create a Phantom Rapist.
2) Cat Potion - I really want this one to work and hope to have a very different post tomorrow on this, but I don't believe you can have a potion that turns you into a cat so I 'feel' the tail grow and hands change but never 'see' my hands change into paws or my ears turn to cat ears, etc.
I'm wondering if it would be better to reinforce "I believe and obey" instead of "I hear and obey" and alike in files that seek to improve suggestibility. I'm thinking that a few "setup lines" like "Phantoms are real. They are spirits that can become real to you." when responded to with "I believe..." might help override pre-conceptions outside the scope of the script that might invalidate it's acceptance. What do you all think? Am I just overcomplicating this? (it would not the first time I've heard that in the last 24 hours BTW).
Thanks.
