Eyes closed vs spiral

Hi, For the past few days I've had a renewed interest in getting a file to work so I've been experimenting.
Now normally I used to lay down and close my eyes and listen this worked once a long time ago and has since not been great for me with trance as I just feel like I'm falling asleep. Then I do and it's a few hours later >.<

Now for two days I've been listening to this file while being sat up and watching a hypnotic spiral on the screen. Done this in 3 sessions. I actually feel like I'm zoning out and I don't think anywhere near as much.

Does closing eyes and spirals work better for some people then others?
I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are in this.

For myself it depends on the file I'm using.

I'll attempt some of my lying down files sitting up and report back.

if you want to experiment you should try watching psychedelic animations on mute while listening to hypnosis. i have a theory that the animations will aid trance by getting you into an imaginative state were you are more suggestible
