If one likes much of the idea behind a file, but doesn't like some of the specific points, how probable is it for only the accepted parts to take?

I find that I take what I like from a file and reject the rest. However, if I really don't like something, it will throw me off and cause me to come out of trance or not trance as hard. Can you edit the track with Audacity? I've done that at times to remove things I don't like. I've also considered the things I don't like beforehand and replace them with a different idea. For example, if a file says you will only wear jock straps and I don't like jockstraps and want to wear bikini briefs only, I come to an understanding that the tist might say jockstrap, but to me that is bikini briefs. So, I say it's possible if the things are minor but too much and it may throw you too far out of the track.

You really need to get a customized file to get the full experience.
I have done hundreds of custom files (500+), and I can tell you that nothing pleases people like having it exactly the way they desire.

I used to start and stop files and only listen to certain parts. Or, better yet, put the file through an audio editor and just remove the parts you don't want.
