Voice change during Hypnosis

Postby benjii » May 17th, 2006, 10:48 pm

I am curious about using one voice to enter a trance and another voice to provide the hypnotic suggestions. Is this a good or bad idea?

Thanks, Eldon

I have heard that for many people the change of voice during trance can prove a disturbance and might actually make them come out of trance. I can recommend playing the file Cardigan - Enhancement and Acceptance to enter trance and then to follow that file with the bodies of files, you wish to listen to. What the file does is, that it makes your subconscious more readily accept files done by other hypnotists being mixed in and it tries to prevent disturbances from occurring.

In my experience a change of voice during trance helps more than it hurts

not as much if the first voice told you the hypnotist will change.
In my dreams I once said, "Ahh, Yes, but how many minds does my one mind hold?".
