First of all: please leave the CAPS LOCK key alone, you don't have to shout at us.

Secondly:

1. The effect, not the affect.

2. CAPS LOCK=shouting on the internet.

3. The files wouldn't cause harm if you listened while asleep, although it's debatable how effective they'd be. I can't sleep with any sort of sound-- music or speech-- so I couldn't tell you.

on topic 3:

if you are a light sleeper, it may not work well to sleep with a file going. if you generally sleep deeper, the file may cause you to sleep lighter which would be closer to the state of hypnosis. i have a friend who listens to files while he sleeps and they have worked extremely well. this is just my two cents, so you are welcome to ignore it. just putting it out there.

best of luck in any efforts

I found that the actual file distracted me and kept me awake or I would keep waking up throughout the night, I assume because of the wakening part of the file. However, I used trainsusecptable as a subliminal file under some soothing sound, and it actually did help me to go into trance better. I never really tried it with any other files though. Good luck with it either way.
