Scary memory loss

Now that I've been doing hypnosis for several months on a regular basis, one effect, maybe the one effect? that I have started noticing is a short-term memory loss--sometimes rather scary so. Other people have noticed and looked at me like I'm crazy--then said--you just did that--or said that--or whatever... one time I was at physical therapy and accidentally exercised the wrong leg--during the whole session the physical therapist was looking at me kind of concerned and I wonder if I might have even been in trance then??? Yet I don't notice any other effects. This one is annoying enough to be sure...I am starting to wonder if this is safe to continue, what is going on, and if it is even the hypnosis at all (I don't know what else it could be though--stress????). Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

It could be that you are more relaxed with trance and go into trance very easily and maybe those small bouts of memory loss are small trances.
