For me, it feels good, I feel like I'm hollow and not all there. Very relaxing, but it's hard for me to get there.

I know that I normally feel warm, and then after a little while, I start to feel
like I'm surrounded by nothing and just by myself floating.

O_o' I've been in a trance and not even known it.... hmm, I thought I'd have fallen asleep though, or something on that line. COOLNESS!! Anyway, I think what I felt was pretty close to the warm floating feeling, everything felt numb. Basicly, if you ever slept on your arm the wrong way and woke up unable to feel, or... move it, that's pretty close to the feeling cept all over. Rather nice when your not worried about your arm being dead.

on anouther note.... it only took three tries to get into trance.... I feel weak minded now. T_T

Ria, there is plenty of evidence that suggest that the more intelligent a person is, the easier they are to hypnotize. It appears to me that this is true because intelligent people tend to move through the world like you would move through stores buying a new wardrobe. But, rather than just trying on things they like, they try on just about everything they can. Everything from opposing beliefs to new models of interpersonal communication.

Ahh yes, It slipped my mind, ye who doubts nothing, knows nothing. I can't believe I was so quick to follow the public beleif when my IQ tests didn't sopport it. Then agian... I'm not entirly trusting of them either. I doubt I'm a genuis in any fashion. Well.... maybe artisticly but I hate my work so that doesn't mean squat.

I needed that Jack. Thx much.

i would like to know/ask. If you are aware of yourself being in a trance? i mean while everything is going on. Can you understand that you are in a trance and being hypnotised or are you blissfully unaware of anything going on?

Both.. neither.. aware.. unaware.. aware of some things.. unaware of others. It all depends on the induction/suggestions used/given.

In a really good trance you should only be aware of the hypnotist's voice, that's all. It should feel like you are floating because there should be no sense of your surroundings or even your body.

I think more generally it is :

A feeling of nothingness... just a voice telling you to do something or think of something.
