Fast success?

I have gotten in contact with someone whom I have sent some links.
At first he tried the http://hypnotizedguys.com website, which had an much greater impact on him than I could have ever imagined.
After playing around with that trigger there I sent him a link to the trainbot-file from hypnojock (that is in German, which is my and his native language).
He heared it just 3 or four times, could not even remember what was in the file and has no conscious memory of the time while he is triggered (the trigger includes no such things as memory loss and even triggering him and telling him he has to remember afterwards seems to have no effect).
He told me he is scared about the power I have over him and that I should never use the trigger on him again. After a while of talking he doesn't seem to be afraid any more.
But I wonder wether he is making that all up. I never heard that you can be hypnotized or triggered if you fear it or don't believe it. As I heared until now, you can't someone force to do something they don't really want. So how can this all be?
