I don't know if overlapping would work but I have heard from several sources that if you set it to play one on into the left ear and the other in the right it might work. and as far as with overlapping goes I have heard alot about wisper tracks on files maybe if you set it up something like it my work just some ideas hope they help sorry I can't attest to the effectiveness of any of it
